Phosgenation
Synthesia has more than a 50-year experience with the production and processing of phosgene, beginning from the basic production of aromatic isocyanates to highly sophisticated phosgenation of amino acids (N-carboxy anhydrides). The phosgenation may proceed either in a water/alkaline environment, or in various organic solvents.
Three independent (isocyanates) production units
Two multi-function production units provided with:
- brine cooling to -15 °C
- water cooling to +20 °C
- glycol system for heating and cooling (-15 to +50 °C)
- steam heating up to +150 °C
- facility for recycling of solvents
- pilot facility - reactor 250 lt
