Diethyl Ether pure, stabilized with max.0.001 % Fenidon

Characteristics:   Clear, colourless, highly volatile liquid (at 20 °C) of characteristic flavour and smell.
It interfuses with water partly, with the other organic solvent it interfuses without any limitations.

Quality values:
Relative density (at 20 °C)   714-716 kg/cm3
Peroxides content (as hydrogen peroxide)   the colouring of the water level must not be changed during 30 min (according to the Czech and Eur pharmacopoeia (Eur-Ph/2002)
Acidity (as acetic acid, alkalimetric titration)   max.0,003 % wt.=max.0.02 ml (0.04 mol/l) NaOH
Aldehydes content   during 1 min only feeble opalescence in water level is allowed to appear
Water - content (K. Fischer)   max.2 g/l = 0.3 % wt.
Residue on evaporation (gravimetric)   max.0.003 % wt. = 1 mg/l (max.20 mg/l)
Destilation range   34.0-35.0 °C
Fusel-oil content   the other odour must not smell in filter paper after evaporation of 10 ml Diethyl Ether
